Wilsonart’s Teresa Humphrey appointed to ASID 2023 National Board of Directors

Teresa Humphrey, LEED AP ID+C, Director of Commercial Specifications for Wilsonart, has been appointed to the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) 2023 National Board of Directors. The 11-member board comprises design leaders from across all sectors of the design community, including three officers, seven at-large directors, and an industry partner representative. The board’s 2023 term will run from October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023.

Humphrey’s career with Wilsonart spans more than 29 years. In her current role, she spearheads the North American Commercial Specifications and National Account teams, bringing Wilsonart surfaces to commercial spaces across the globe. Through a positive attitude and dedicated work ethic, Humphrey guides a team of individuals who are committed to building and maintaining customer relationships within the A&D community.

“It is an honor to be appointed to the ASID 2023 Board of Directors,” said Humphrey. “ASID believes that design impacts lives and I’m looking forward to tackling new challenges in efforts to support the Society and its dedication to improving lives through design.”

ASID’s board acts as the association’s governing body and advises the Society through administration and policy-setting. Through the implementation of proposed strategies, the board will guide ASID with the goal of exemplifying the profession’s ability to influence lives and affect change in all aspects of the world. The board’s robust backgrounds offer unique perspectives to help grow and further ASID as the leading organization for the interior design community.
