Martha Orellana Bids Farewell to MrSteam

After more than 40 years in the luxury bath industry, Martha Orellana — the much-loved “Mrs. Steam” is retiring on October 4, 2024.

Her legacy is as powerful as the benefits of steam for which she advocated, leaving an unforgettable mark on the industry. Martha’s famous saying, “We feel good when you feel good,” wasn’t just a tagline; it was a mantra she infused into every aspect of MrSteam’s business from customer service to award-winning product designs and quality.

Martha helped elevate MrSteam’s visibility through visionary marketing strategies that garnered numerous awards, including recognition as one of the most influential women in the kitchen and bath industry by CONTRACTOR Magazine.

“We’ve been sales and marketing partners for more than 40 years,” said Dan Reinert, Mr Steam, vice president. “Martha prioritized wellness and well-being for bathroom design years before it was cool. She understood the market, but more than that, she understood the people of the industry. She was committed to helping them to be successful.”

As MrSteam looks to the future, it can “feel good” knowing that Martha’s legacy will be carried forward by Dan, along with William “Bill” Kauker, MrSteam marketing director, and Dawn DiGregorio, vice president and general manager, who has been touting the benefits of steam for nearly 25 years.
