Deadline Approaching: Entries for 2024 KCMA® Design Awards Competition Due March 15
The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) encourages interior designers to enter their best kitchen design projects in the inaugural 2024 KCMA® Design Awards program by March 15. The program is intended to showcase outstanding kitchen designs featuring KCMA Member cabinets.
“We’re very excited about the launch of the new KCMA Design Awards program,” said KCMA CEO Betsy Natz. “Beyond recognizing outstanding kitchen designs, the overarching goal of the program is to promote public interest in cabinet design excellence. The competition will focus on the quality of the cabinet environments within kitchens, while promoting the important role interior designers play in the process.”
“This competition is a great opportunity for interior design professionals to showcase their best designs, gain recognition among their peers, and build exposure for their work and firm,” continued Natz. “But it’s not all about winning – it’s also a way spark community engagement by shining a spotlight on innovation, quality, and originality.”
Competition Details:
- Entries for the KCMA 2024 Design Awards program will be accepted through March 15, 2024. Judging will take place March 15 through April 1, 2024.
- Eligible projects must have been completed during calendar years 2021, 2022, and 2023.
- One (1) First Award for Best Kitchen Design will be named. The winner will receive a trip to the 2024 KCMA Spring Leadership Conference (includes airfare, accommodations, and $1,000 for expenses). The First Award winner will also be featured in a full-page advertisement in Kitchen & Bath Design News and recognized on the Woodworking Network and KCMA websites.
- One (1) Second Award for 2ndBest Kitchen design will also receive a $500 cash award.
