RIMA International Allies with High Performance Insulation Professionals (HPIP)
The Reflective Insulation Manufacturers Association International (RIMA-I) continues to identify new ways to educate on the benefits and uses of reflective insulation, radiant barrier and interior radiation control coatings (IRCCs) and search out new opportunities to improve the knowledge of the industry and its technology. Part of this effort is working with other organizations to contribute training and other educational resources to help those interested in being the best in the industry reach that goal.
RIMA-I recently finalized an MOU to ally with the High Performance Insulation Professionals (HPIP) organization to contribute resources and training to their certified contractors.
HPIP is the only 501c3 in the insulation industry dedicated to establishing a unified certification for contractors and those entering the workplace. Through online learning, live events, and accreditation of partner events, they promote a unified insulation certification the public, consumers, builders, and government entities can use to recognize and appreciate a trained contractor.
For nearly 30 years, their certified contractors have understood what the rest of the industry is starting to figure out. There are incredibly effective insulation systems that deserve a larger market share than they currently have. There are contractors who go above and beyond to be the best of the best, and they should be recognized as such. HPIP is focused on supporting the best contractors and systems in the insulation industry; and RIMA International is proud to partner with them and contribute to this effort.
