WOW Design Stuns with Ephemeral Space at CERSAIE 2023

WOW Design, specialists in small-scale signature tile design, showcased its creative potential with an ephemeral space at the international tile exhibition CERSAIE in Bologna, Italy while also showcasing its latest tile collections. Developed by interior design studio Summumstudio, the space took visitors on a journey, introducing them to innovative applications of ceramic tile.

The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA), which champions advocacy, leadership, and quality in the North American cabinet industry, has welcomed two new member companies to its growing membership roster: Northland Furniture, based in scenic Bend, Oregon; and Amherst, a leading national supplier of modular housing producing up to 600 single-family homes per year at its factory in Cuero.

Whirlpool Corporation’s SlimTech insulation is the first vacuum insulated structure (VIS) technology in a refrigerator. Vacuum-sealed within the door or sides of a refrigerator, the material reduces wall thicknesses by up to 66% to offer up to 25% more capacity than traditional insulation. The material used in SlimTech insulation also has the potential to be recycled which will make refrigerators more sustainable and help reduce environmental impact.

In his new book “Video Testimonials that Land the Big Fish,” Ian Garlic draws from his own rich storytelling experience to map out what every architect and design professional needs to know about using video to tell their stories. The 150-page book is actually a story within a story, with chapters unfolding in a logical, compelling manner to guide readers in the art of storytelling through video.

The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) has issued a call for entries in the inaugural 2024 KCMA® Design Awards program for 2024. The competition is an opportunity for kitchen design professionals to showcase their best projects, receive valuable feedback from a distinguished jury panel and gain exposure for their work and firm. The entry deadline is March 15, 2024 for eligible projected completed in 2021, 2022 and 2023
